Gerebeg or Grebeg has meaning "wind noise". Garebeg is one of the custom Kraton Ngayogyakarta that for the first time organized by the Sultan Hamengku Buwana I. This royal ceremony involving the entire palace, all royal officials and involving all levels of society. Formally,

on 12 Rabi 'has two important meanings in the lives of the Prophet, as
Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad was born and died on the same date
and month. Tradition
to celebrate the birth of the Prophet of this new religion of Islam
grew after spreads to other countries outside the Arabian peninsula. The
birth of the Prophet Muhammad is not a legal holiday Islam, because
Islam recognizes only two holidays, the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Celebration
of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad as a royal ceremony was
